Finance
The month in one view, built from what you logged.
A monthly picture of your money is only useful if the entries are there. LifeVela makes logging fast enough that the record builds through the month, so the summary at the end reflects what actually happened.
Income and expenses in one view
The Finance module shows total income and total expenses for the current month, broken down by category. You can see what came in, what went out, and the net position. The view is built from the entries you logged; nothing is estimated.
Categories without configuration
LifeVela uses a standard set of categories — food, transport, utilities, health, entertainment, and others. Merchant auto-categorisation assigns a category to common entries. You can change the category if it is wrong. The monthly breakdown is built from these categories.
Finance as one of six dimensions
The Finance dimension of your Life Score is calculated from your logged spending and income data. A month where you logged consistently will show a Finance dimension with data. A month where you did not log will show a gap. The score reflects the record.
Sample interface — your view is built from what you log.
What LifeVela does not do here
LifeVela does not connect to your bank, does not read statements, and does not detect transactions. The monthly picture is only as complete as the entries you made.
Free includes everything. No card, ever.
