Finance
The SIP is a spend too. It belongs in the same record.
SIP contributions are often tracked separately from regular spending, which makes it easy to lose sight of them. LifeVela records them in the same Finance module as everything else so the full picture is in one place.
SIPs logged as a Finance entry
A SIP contribution is logged as a Finance entry with the investment category. It appears in the monthly expense view alongside rent, food, and utilities. The monthly picture includes what went toward investments, not just what was spent.
The monthly view includes investments
The Finance module's monthly summary shows total outflows including SIP contributions. You can see the split between spending and investing in the same view. The Finance dimension of your Life Score reflects all logged Finance entries.
Due-date reminders for SIPs
A SIP can be logged as a recurring payment with a due date. The Finance reminder surfaces before the contribution date so you know it is coming. The reminder is the same mechanism as any other recurring payment.
Sample interface — your view is built from what you log.
What LifeVela does not do here
LifeVela does not connect to investment platforms, does not track portfolio performance, and does not calculate returns. It records the contribution amount you log.
Free includes everything. No card, ever.
